NESAMOVYTI OBLYCHCHIA

Forgotten or neglected, they are the driving force of Ukrainian culture. The "Nesamovyti Oblychcha" collection was created to tell about artistic figures whose achievement is difficult to overestimate.

 

Four silk handkerchiefs are interwoven with vytinanas by Paraska Plytka-Horytsvit, notes by Mykola Leontovych, theater by Les Kurbas, and songs by Solomiya Krushelnytska. Each of the illustrations visually conveys the passions and assets of each of the heroes of the collection. 

 

"Nesamovyti Oblychcha" was created in collaboration with Maria Oz, a Ukrainian animation director and illustrator. Maria recreated the concept in images and illustrations, conveying each hero of the collection through the prism of her perception.
